Fatema Alaali

Dr. Fatema Alaali currently serves as the Dean of the College of Business and Management and an Assistant Professor of Economics in the same College. She teaches various courses in Economics and Finance and supervises students in their final projects. Before joining AUBH, Dr. Alaali joined Ahlia University, Bahrain, in 2015 as an Assistant Professor of Economics. Her experience extends to helping students explore and define their academic, career, and life goals, by serving as an academic advisor. In addition, she has supervised several undergraduate students in their final projects as well as MBA and Engineering Management students. Dr. Alaali gained the fellowship of the Higher Education Academy in the UK (FHEA) in December 2018. Her research interests include areas of applied economics and finance, energy and environmental economics, investment and asset pricing. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Sheffield, U.K. in 2015.
